Maestro Diego Basso once again directs the Orchestra for the TV show MUSIC airing on Canale 5

The pop rock symphony conductor, Maestro Diego Basso, will once again direct the Orchestra in the second edition of Paolo Bonolis’s TV show, Music, airing in the early evening of Wednesday December 6th, 13th, and 20th.

The title of the show sends a clear message: the show will place pop music and its greatest performers on a national and international stage - from Marilyn Manson to Luis Fonsi, from Gianni Morandi to Luca Zingaretti – these will be the real protagonists. Maestro Basso has transcribed and edited the arrangements of the tracks "of their lives" for the stars performing on the show at Teatro 5 of Cinecittà.

Maestro Diego Basso, conductor of the Treviso orchestra, is increasingly in demand for major television productions and prestigious live events. He returns to Canale 5 to conduct the Orchestra of Music, the spectacular television show conducted by Paolo Bonolis and first launched last January. The second edition of the show will air on Wednesday December 6th, 13th, and 20th. Pop music itself is the undisputed protagonist of the show and will fill Teatro 5 of Cinecittà in Rome through the 42 instruments of the Orchestra and the voices of some of the greatest national and international artists, from Marilyn Manson to Noel Gallagher and Luis Fonsi, from Gianni Morandi to Massimo Ranieri.

Maestro Basso has transcribed and arranged the music for the pieces that will be played by the guests of the show - that is the songs they consider to be those "of their lives". On the stage of the prestigious television studio, he will conduct the entire performance including the Italian Rhythmic Symphony Orchestra, an orchestra composed of 42 musicians from across Italy most of whom are under age 35.

The Maestro hopes the audience experiences the true emotions that the authentic sounds of the Orchestra have the power to elicit. He says:"the magic of live music surpasses every technological innovation". But he will also do more as he brings together the pop orchestra with the best of the pop genre - the most famous national and international performers will be on stage. The whole performance will be on TV, within everyone's reach.

In the new edition of Music, the Maestro will direct more than twenty artists, and not only singers or songwriters. Scheduled to perform during the three episodes of Paolo Bonolis’ show are international stars of the caliber of Mickey Rourke and John McEnroe and national artists, such as Checco Zalone, Riccardo Cocciante, i Negramaro, Riki, Max Pezzali, Gianni Morandi and Massimo Ranieri. Also performing will be the singer-songwriter Levante, from the jury of X Factor, and the outstanding Italian actors, Luca Zingaretti and Claudio Santamaria.
