Two new dates have been added to Il Volo’s Notte Magica European tour, with the Orchestra led by Maestro Diego Basso. After successful performances in Zurich, Brussels and London, the Il Volo trio arrive in Germany on Thursday June 15th at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf and Friday June 16th at Mehr! Theater in Hamburg, Germany’s second most populous city after Berlin. In both performances, the Maestro will conduct the 40 musicians of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, an internationally renowned Slovak orchestra that already played alongside Il Volo once in the inaugural concert of Il Volo’s European Tour in Zurich.
The first performance will be in Düsseldorf, a city that hosts the second highest population of Italians in Germany. The concert theatre, the Mitsubishi Electric Halle (also known as Philips Halle because it was originally called the Dutch electronics conglomerate Philips), is an indoor arena that first opened in 1971 and seats 7,500 people.
