Once again the Maestro and the Orchestra will play alongside some of the most famous and recognized national artists including Al Bano, Alter Echo, Bianca Atzei, Enrico Ruggeri, Christian Iansante, Silvia Midnight, and Mario Biondi. The hosts for the evening will be Francesco Facchinetti and Luisa Corna, with illusionist Eddy as a special guest.
Despite being incredibly busy with the Il Volo European tour "Notte Magica", for which he directs the European orchestras that accompany the three tenors on Europe's most famous and prestigious stages, Maestro Diego Basso did not want to miss this event, organized to raise funds to support the department of children’s Neuropsychiatry and the Centro per il bambino e la famiglia (The Center for the Child and Family) of the Papa Giovanni XXIII Hospital of Bergamo.
"When my friend Roby Facchinetti asked me if I wanted to be a part of this project which he’s been a part of for years" said the Maestro, "I had no doubts: I am happy and honored to provide my professional support for the purposes of the Charity Gala. Children always deserve our attention in every circumstance and we must not forget that our goal is always just one: delivering a better world where they can grow, live, and chase their dreams without fear or obstacles."
